The heavy machinery we ship to Senegal from the USA includes: Tractors, Bobcats, Crawlers, Loaders, Forklifts, Excavators, Bulldozers, and Helicopters.

Our clients include construction companies, manufacturers, agencies and private owners.

If you were hoping to save on import duty fees, let us professionally dismantle your machinery first so it fits in the containers easier. This method is often cheaper (shipping disassembled machinery) because it is considered a shipment of parts rather than a fully assembled machine.

Shipping Method for Shipping Heavy Machinery to Senegal

We provide the RoRo method for heavy machinery shipments to Senegal. Container shipping is not available. Our shipping vessels depart every week from the five U.S. seaports mentioned above to the one port in Senegal.

RoRo Shipping (Roll-On/Roll-Off)

We frequently transport construction vehicles, boats, motorcycles, motorhomes, campers, trailers, and buses overseas in this manner. It features set departure and arrival dates (think: an airport) so you can rely on this method in regards to timing. The equipment you are shipping must roll onto and off of the ship, which is constructed inside like a giant parking garage.

Do You Need Marine Insurance?

We urge you to buy it but it is not something we require. Also, you don’t have to pay for 100% coverage if you find it too expensive; you can cover the machinery for 50% or 75% of the equipment’s value. Be mindful that you will have to pay out of pocket for any damage that happens if you don’t decide to purchase coverage.

We offer 1.75% of the value of the machinery for FULL coverage, theft, vandalism, total loss, damage with $500 deductible. Total Loss for 1.25% charge for the value of the machinery. Coverage begins when your machinery is loaded onto the ship until signed for at the arrival port.
