There is only one arrival port in Belgium and that is Zeebrugge. This is a large container, bulk cargo, ferry passenger terminal and new vehicle port on the North Sea located in Bruges, West Flanders. This is where the designated person will pick up the heavy machinery. That person will have to bring cash to pay for the equipment in person for Tax or Duty.

For specific prices on heavy machinery, you will need a custom quote. Shipping Method for Shipping Heavy Machinery to Belgium
Our shipping vessels depart on a weekly basis from all seven U.S. seaports listed above to the one port in Belgium. We only offer one shipping method to Belgium for heavy machinery and that is the RoRo method.
RoRo Shipping (Roll On/Roll Off)
This is meant for wheeled vehicles that can get up the ramp on the ship, such as construction vehicles, boats, motorcycles, motorhomes, campers, trailers, and buses. This is our only choice, but it’s popular thanks to its cost-effectiveness and efficiency. It has reliable departure and arrival dates, akin to an airport, and your construction vehicle is securely tied to the deck for the ultimate in protection.
Do You Need Marine Insurance?
We recommend insuring your heavy machinery for the trip but you are not required to do so. You can get:
1.75% of the value of the machinery for FULL coverage, theft, vandalism, total loss, damage with $500 deductible. Coverages start at the time when your machinery is loaded onto the ship until the time it’s signed for when collecting. Total Loss for 1.25% charge for the value of the machinery. Side Note: You don’t have to cover 100% of the equipment’s value. If you find Marine Insurance is too expensive, cover the machinery for 50% or $75% of the value. But if you do not purchase any insurance, you will have to pay out of pocket for any damages that may occur (although rare).
