Marine insurance provides coverage for damage to your car while it’s at sea. Hurricane season spans from June 1st to November 30th. The cost of marine insurance is calculated at 1.75% of the specific amount you wish to cover. For example, to safeguard $10,000 worth of damage, the marine insurance cost would be $175.

RoRo Shipping to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
RoRo – Roll On, Roll Off
Your cars will be transported to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, using a RoRo (Roll on Roll off) ship. They will be driven up a ramp and loaded onto the ship without being placed inside a container. The advantage of a RoRo ship is that your car will be securely inside the vessel, shielded from exposure to the elements.

Canceling Your Order
If for some reason you need to cancel your order, there’s a $300 cancelation fee.
USA Customs Clearance
Ship Overseas, Inc. will clear US customs for you. This is included in your order.
Who Can Pickup Your Car in DR.
Only the owner or consignee (the person designated on the paperwork) are allowed to pick up the car in Santo Domingo. Whoever picks up the car should make sure they have extra cash on hand to pay for the fees that will be charged at the port.
