Shipping Method for Shipping a Boat to France
Our shipping vessels depart on a weekly basis from all eight U.S. seaports listed above to the one port in France. We offer the RoRo shipping method to France for boats.
RoRo Shipping (Roll-On/Roll-Off)
Ideal for transporting wheeled vehicles such as boats, motorcycles, motorhomes, campers, trailers, buses, and construction vehicles, this is our most popular, cost-effective, and efficient shipping method. It has reliable departure and arrival dates, giving you protection for your vehicle from the elements. That’s because all boats are tied to the deck with no exposure to the ocean.
Do You Need Marine Insurance?
We don’t require it but it’s highly recommended. Here’s what we offer:
1.75% of the value of the vehicle for FULL coverage, theft, vandalism, total loss, and damage with $500 deductible. Coverage starts at the time when the car is loaded onto the ship until the time it is signed for when collecting. Total Loss for 1.25% charge for the value of the vehicle. Side Note: If you find Marine Insurance too expensive, you don’t have to cover 100% of the vehicle’s value. Simply cover the car for 50% or $75% of the value. But if you do not purchase any insurance, then you have to pay out of pocket for any damages.
As you can see, it’s super simple to ship a boat to France, especially with our team behind you. If you need more information, don’t hesitate to call us toll-free at 888-805-4994 or 858-547-0840.
