Offering weekly sailings from ports in the USA to Saudi Arabia

Our shipping vessels depart on a weekly basis from U.S. seaports to the ports of Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh. To get your car there, we offer two main shipping methods to choose from:

RoRo Shipping – Short for Roll On, Roll Off, these are vessels meant for shipping wheeled cargo. Vehicles are driven onto the ship via a ramp, sort of like a parking garage.

Container Shipping – Cars are placed in a container, either alone or with other cars, and strapped down for shipping.

It’s a major export center for the oil industry, as well as a main distribution center for the top landlocked cities in the country.

Two Types of Shipping Methods

The process can get confusing if this is your first time shipping a car to Saudi Arabia. Here, we’ll go into detail on the two main types of shipping methods, of which there are many advantages.

RoRo Shipping (Roll On/Roll Off)

Our most popular option, this method is good for shipping motorhomes, campers, trailers, buses, construction vehicles, and boats. However, vehicles using this method must be able to make it up and down the ramp on their own power without any assistance. It’s the most affordable and convenient, best for wheeled vehicles such as motorcycles and cars. Once on the ship, your vehicle will be securely tied down in a designated spot.Select this method when shipping a single vehicle to Saudi Arabia, when you want a predictable departure date, and when your car is in good working order.

This happens to be a highly efficient and cost-effective option, something many new car manufacturers opt for when looking to ship their own vehicles. RoRo shipping offers secure tie-down with no exposure to the ocean for incredible protection against external elements.

Container Shipping

Another way to ship a car from the USA to Saudi Arabia is via container. There are two types of container shipping: shared and exclusive container shipping. Here are the details on each.

Shared Container Shipping

This is just like it sounds: your car shares a container with other people’s cars. Each container fits about four vehicles. Those who buy classic cars in the USA that need repair often choose shared container shipping when shipping to Saudi Arabia. You are also allowed to ship additional items in the trunk or the backseat of your vehicle, a big advantage over RoRo, where you cannot do this.

With shared containers, you can also ship vehicles that do not work. That being said, each container must be filled with vehicles in order for it to be loaded onto the container ship and to set sail. Translation: you can’t be guaranteed of a fixed departure date like you are with the RoRo method.

This makes it more difficult to plan, as you may have to wait an extra week or two until the container is filled with the rest of the vehicles. As a result, you would be best off choosing this method when shipping two or more vehicles.

Exclusive Container Shipping

Do you have exotic vehicles like Bentleys, Ferraris, Aston Martins, ship? Would you like personalized attention and extra protection? This one is a good idea. Your car is the only one in the container, so you’ll pay more, but you get the convenience. Just as with shared containers, you are allowed to ship personal belongings along with your car.

Also as with shared container shipping, you can ship vehicles that do not work.
