There are three arrival ports in Spain: Barcelona, Sagunto and Vigo.

Our shipping vessels depart on a weekly basis from all eight U.S. seaports listed above to the three ports in Spain. In general, we offer the RoRo shipping method to Spain for boats, with shared container shipping from Newark, NJ and Long Beach, CA.

RoRo Shipping (Roll On/Roll Off)

Meant for boats, motorcycles, motorhomes, campers, trailers, buses, and construction vehicles, this is our most popular, cost-effective and efficient shipping method. Featuring reliable departure and arrival dates, all boats are tied to the deck with no exposure to the ocean.

Container Shipping

Another option for two of the ports is to use a shipping container to ship your boat to Spain. Choose from shared and exclusive container shipping.

Do You Need Marine Insurance?

Not required but recommended!

1.75% of the value of the vehicle for FULL coverage, theft, vandalism, total loss, damage with $500 deductible. Total Loss for 1.25% charge for the value of the boat. Coverage starts at the point the boat is loaded onto the ship until the point it is signed for when collecting.

If you decide that Marine Insurance is too expensive, you don’t have to cover 100% of the boat’s value. Simply cover the boat for 50% or $75% of the value. Remember: if you don’t purchase any insurance, then you have to pay out of pocket for damages.

One of the most common questions boat owners have is about the ferry to Spain cost. The Process of Shipping a Boat to Spain

When you need to ship a boat to Spain, there are several options available. Typically, the most common methods include shipping via a container, flat rack, or roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) services. Each option has its own benefits, and the best choice for you depends on the size and condition of your boat. For smaller boats, shipping via RoRo or container might be the most affordable option. For larger yachts or boats, flat rack shipping might be the ideal choice.
