I used Ship Overseas back in 2019 to ship my 2008 Harley Softtail from Galveston Texas to Belgium. I forget exactly how long it took, perhaps in the two month range. However, the bike did eventually arrive and was completely ready for me at pickup. They even handled all the import paperwork etc. My only complaint would be that somehow the bike had accumulated almost 100 extra miles on it from when I dropped in off, and picking it up. Perhaps they needed to run it around the boat a few 1000 times. Also, there were a couple of parts missing from my saddle bags. Lesson: NEVER leave anything that can't be bolted to the object you are shipping. Otherwise, great service and a very good shipping experience.

Hello Tere! Last summer I sent my car to Estonia. I was scared little bit because it was my first time ( maybe even last!) to do this kind of thing. But it went very smoothly - unexpectedly . Most difficult thing was driving myself to the port, but I did it! I could order somebody from Ship Overseas, but it cost money. And paperwork was pretty normal. The same day, I left to the airport, I got phone call that they sent car title to my old address. Wow! I thought that this title goes directly to the Estonian port, but I was wrong. They sent this very important paper over to my son.It arrived on time when I was ready to show car documents to the toll office. Everything ended very well ! Thanks to Ship Overseas. The base cost to ship an SUV from Belgium to the U.S. is $1,627.

Vehicle Age Limits
For US Spec vehicles, there is no age limit. For non-US Spec vehicle, cars must be a minimum of 25+ years old. This generally applies to classic cars.
How Much is Import Tax?
Import tax is 3% (this number includes 2.5% Duty + HMF & MPF fees). HMF is the Harbor Maintenance Fee and MPF is the Merchandise Processing Fee.

We only offer RoRo shipping from Belgium to the U.S. not container shipping. Our shipping vessels depart on a weekly basis from the port in Belgium for transport into the United States.

RoRo Shipping (Roll On/Roll Off)
RoRo is a great choice when shipping a car that is able to make it up the ramp and onto the ship on its own. This is our most cost effective and popular method of shipping cars from the USA to Belgium, plus it’s efficient and reliable, offering set departure and arrival dates (kind of like an airport). We use RoRo to transport wheeled vehicles such as motorcycles, cars, motorhomes, campers, trailers, buses, construction vehicles and boats.
All cars are tied to the deck with no exposure to the ocean water and air so you get the ultimate in protection from the elements.
Weekly sailings from Antwert and Zeebrugge Ports in Belgium to USA
Our shipping vessels depart on a weekly basis from two cities in Belgium: Antwerp and Zeebrugge, to any U.S. seaport you choose. You will be responsible for getting the vehicle to the port in Belgium for shipping to the USA. From there, Ship Overseas uses one of these two methods:
RoRo Shipping – RoRo ships, meant specifically for transporting wheeled cargo such as cars and motorcycles, entails vehicles being driven onto the ship of their own power (just like a big parking garage ramp).
Container Shipping – Your car is shipped inside a container, along with other cars, if you select shared shipping, or it can make the journey all by itself if you choose exclusive.
We offer 1.75% of the value of the vehicle for FULL coverage of theft, vandalism, damage and total loss with a $500 deductible. It’s highly recommended that you sign on for the insurance but it is not required. Coverage starts at the time your car is loaded onto the ship in Belgium and lasts until it is collected and signed for at the arrival port in the USA. Total Loss is 1.25% charge for the value of the vehicle.
If you are hesitant to pay for 100% coverage, you can buy partial coverage of 50% to 75% of the value. Keep in mind, though, that you are responsible for paying out of pocket for any damage exceeding the covered amount.
