Shipping Method for Shipping a Boat to Europe
Our shipping vessels depart weekly from all eight U.S. seaports listed above to nine countries in Europe. RoRo shipping method is the method we use to ship all boats to Europe.
RoRo Shipping (Roll On/Roll Off)
A cost effective way to ship boats, motorcycles, motorhomes, campers, trailers, buses, and construction vehicles to Europe, this is the most popular and efficient shipping method we offer. Backed by set departure and arrival dates, kind of like an airport, this is basically for any wheeled vehicles that can make it up the ramp onto the boat easily.
Do You Need Marine Insurance?
We do not require it but we do recommend it. If you don’t want to pay for 100% coverage, you could cover the boat for 50% or 75% of the value but you would have to pay for out-of-pocket damage that may occur.
1.75% of the value of the boat for FULL coverage, theft, vandalism, total loss, damage with $500 deductible. Total Loss for 1.25% charge for the value of the boat. Coverage begins when the boat is loaded onto the ship and ends when signed for at pickup.
