We offer 1.75% of the value of the vehicle for FULL coverage of theft, vandalism, damage and total loss with a $500 deductible. It’s highly recommended that you sign on for the insurance but it is not required. Coverage starts at the time your car is loaded onto the ship in Belgium and lasts until it is collected and signed for at the arrival port in the USA. Total Loss is 1.25% charge for the value of the vehicle.
If you are hesitant to pay for 100% coverage, you can buy partial coverage of 50% to 75% of the value. Keep in mind, though, that you are responsible for paying out of pocket for any damage exceeding the covered amount.
