At first, I was hesitant to try SO, but it's a legitimate company. They kept their words and gave me satisfaction.

RoRo Car Shipping to Kenya

This big ship is known as a RoRo ship. Use this car shipping method if only one car needs to be shipped. Nothing can be inside the car or the trunk except for the jack and spare tire. Since there is a ramp, the car must be able to drive up and down without any mechanical assistance. Once the car is aboard the ship it is strapped to the ship's deck to prevent it from moving. All ships will rock while out to sea. Read our blog post regarding purchasing marine insurance.

Not everyone gets marine insurance, but it's highly recommended during hurricane season whether you are using RoRo or Container shipping.

There really aren't any drawbacks when using a RoRo ship to transport a car to Mombasa.

Container Car Shipping to Kenya

An exclusive or shared container can be used to ship a car to Kenya. By using an exclusive container, only your cars can go in the container. If you don’t mind a shared container shipment, you will share the container with other cars that are being shipped from the USA to Mombasa, Kenya.

Container shipments are available whereby you may load personal goods in the car you are shipping. Since this means a person would be shipping more stuff, it is normally more expensive than Roll on Roll off shipping. If a person decides to pack personal belongings in the car, a packing list of the goods and the values will be needed. The packing list must itemize the goods by category.

The only drawback of container car shipping to Kenya is the shipping line will not send a container with only one car in it. You might need to wait an extra week until the container is filled with other cars.
