Shipping Motorcycle to Germany from USA
We have been shipping motorcycles to Germany for over 25 years. While there are many brands of motorcycles that German citizens and US military personnel have, many end up shipping a Harley Davidson to Germany. If your motorcycle is far from the departure shipping ports in the US, we can pick it up and take it to the departure port for you. While this is optional, it will save you money because you won't have to spend on gas, hotel, food, vacation days & loss of pay. Your motorcycle will be shipped via RoRo or Container (see below). We will always send you the lowest price by default. Once your motorcycle arrives in Germany, you or the designated person on the Bill of Lading can pick it up. All motorcycle shipments arrive in Bremerhaven, Germany. We send you the appropriate documents and handle all the export compliance procedures for you, including US Customs clearance. Our company is streamlined to make your motorcycle shipping experience pleasant.
Important: When shipping a motorcycle to Germany, our competitors cannot compete with our pricing. We have a solid, long-lasting relationship with the US military. The large volume of vehicles shipped by US military personnel has allowed anyone shipping a motorcycle to Germany to benefit from our low pricing.
RoRo (Roll-On Roll-Off) Motorcycle Shipping to Germany

Use a RoRo ship if only one motorcycle is being shipped to Germany. In order to use this shipping method, the motorcycle must be able to "Roll On and Roll Off' (RoRo) the ship without any mechanical assistance. Once it is on the ship, it will be strapped and braced to the ship's deck as shown on the image to your right. This is done to minimize movement while the ship rocks at sea. It will prevent the motorcycle from shifting around. In this picture, we're shipping Harleys to Germany. To further protect the motorcycles, we lock the tires into a metal protector so the motorcycles don't move. In addition, we supply adequate space between motorcycles for extra protection.

While many people ship a motorcycle to Germany, other people ship mopeds, trikes, golf carts, dirt bikes, ATVs, and other types of off-road vehicles. The RoRo shipping method is a fantastic way to ship a motorcycle to Germany, especially if you are only shipping one motorcycle. If multiple motorcycles need to be shipped at once, the container shipping method is better.
Container Motorcycle Shipping to Germany
Container shipping is the preferred method for dealerships that are shipping motorcycles to Germany. Numerous motorcycles can safely fit into a single container. This drops the price per square foot and makes shipping cheaper. Many times it is cheaper to share a container with other customers who are shipping their motorcycles to the same country. In this case, we would group all motorcycles shipping to Germany together into a few containers to save everyone money. Shipping a motorcycle to Germany via container is equally as safe as the RoRo method. By default, we will give you our lowest price first whether it is via RoRo or Container.
Marine Insurance
Accidents are rare, but we do recommend purchasing marine insurance to protect your motorcycle from loss or damage. Marine insurance is optional. Any ocean vessel WILL rock while out to sea. When shipping a motorcycle to Germany, many people choose to purchase marine insurance. It's super inexpensive to cover motorcycles and it's almost always worth the tiny investment. The cost of coverage will depend on the stated value of your motorcycle.
