Container Shipping to South Korea from USA

Shipping Containers Abroad

For the past 25 years, we have been providing top-notch container shipping services from the United States to South Korea, thanks to our many shipping lines setting sail from all major ports in the country. It is our dedicated, streamlined service that is a source of pride, and a reason why our valued customers return again and again. We can easily ship your goods, such as consumer and capital goods; foods, feeds and beverages; industrial supplies and materials; and automotive parts & engines to South Korea.

Here's how it works:

To get the process going, you first need to submit a quote form which you can find here on our site. This is where you advise us of the goods you’re looking to ship, the container size you need, and where the goods can be picked up for transfer to the departure port. We can inform you of the cost for shipping a container to South Korea after getting this quote form. FYI, we will only authorize your credit card at this time to make sure the funds are there upon first placing an order. The time for actual payment will come later. Once funds have been authorized, we can then start the process of sending our truck driver to your location with an empty container. He or she waits until the container is loaded, then transports the full container to the departure port, where it will be on its way to South Korea in timely fashion. On your end, be sure to mail the notarized original Bill of Sale, necessary to clear Customs, to our office. The truck driver receives a copy of this as well as a dock receipt, which we will be responsible for providing. Once the formalities are done with, your company can pay for the transaction by credit card, check, or bank transfer.

We take all the stress out of planning for a container shipment to South Korea by securing all the necessary documents to meet export compliance standards. It is our commitment to handle all of your container shipping needs, from start to finish, leaving you to meet the more pressing requirements of your business. We hold our prospective customers in the highest regard, offering to take the guesswork out of shipping a container to South Korea. Not only do we provide logistics coordination, we also provide tracking information upon request and help facilitate streamlined operations. It will soon become apparent what sets us apart from the rest.

We can easily alleviate shipping concerns to free up your time for more efficient business operations.

Information For USA Based Companies -

Some commodities and goods require a license to export; therefore, if your company is shipping a container to South Korea, we can let you know if your goods fall under this requirement upon receipt of your quote form. Responsibility for paying import duties falls to the importer (receiver) upon product arrival at port.

The United States Department of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) takes the helm in regards to enforcement of laws and regulations for all goods leaving the USA. As such, they are the sole enforcers of such export rules and regulations, but they may delegate authority to other government agencies in some cases. Therefore, commodity licensing requirements should be directed to that designated agency. A pharmaceutical company in the United States wishing to ship a container of prescription drugs needs to procure the proper license before shipment to South Korea.

Marine Insurance - Protecting Your Product

Protecting your product may mean investing a bit in marine insurance now to avoid problems later. Cost for this optional insurance varies on the product value. If your equipment is broken or lost in shipment, you may be able to receive a $500 entitlement according to COGSA (Carriage of Goods by Sea Act). Nobody wants to receive $500 as compensation on product that costs $75,000 (USD). Another safety measure you can take is to carefully wrap and pack your products for shipping, to avoid damage during the trip at sea, as that ship may rock a bit.

Marine insurance is a wise investment, as it protects your assets during shipment
