It can be a difficult decision to ship your car overseas, whether Africa, Europe or some other continent, especially if you’re new to the game. You may feel intimidated by all the options out there, so we’ve put together a little FAQ post for you to familiarize yourself with the process. So settle back and get comfortable.
How do I know I can trust you? This is a valid question, but rest assured, with our track record of 26 years in the business, worry not my friend. You’ll find lots of fly by night car shipping companies out there that claim to handle everything, from top to bottom. But why trust your precious cargo to anyone without a proven record of excellence? For more proof, check out our BBB rating to see just how highly recommended we come. Also, we are licensed and bonded.
How much will it all cost? This varies by the amount of cars you’re shipping, your chosen shipping method, and destination. Sometimes it’s more economical to ship several cars at once, or at least share your container with other customers. Your price tag will also depend on how you get your car to the port, whether hiring one of our transport truck drivers to handle the logistics, or driving the car yourself. If you opt to drive it yourself, don’t forget to add in all the associated costs of the trip, such as time off work, food, hotel stays and airfare back. Destination also affects cost, but we can help you figure all that out.
How do I get started? Simply click on our green Get Rates button, which will take you to an online quote request form. Fill in the contact details, origin and destination, as well as number of vehicles to be shipped. One of our associates will get back to you promptly with estimated costs.

How do you keep my car safe for transport? Shipping your car overseas can seem like a daunting task, but rest assured, we make every effort to ensure your vehicle is properly secured during transport. If you opt for container shipping, your car is driven into a large container, secured with heavy duty equipment to ensure no extra movement or contact with other cars. If you choose RoRo (roll on, roll off), your car is strapped securely to the deck of our ship for the trip.
Can I purchase insurance? Because ships tend to roll at sea, in rare cases, damage could occur. We take painstaking efforts to guard against that, but the nature of the ocean is what it is. In the unlikely event of damage, it’s wise to choose the optional marine insurance so you are properly compensated.
