This post will show you how to weed out the ‘work from home’ companies and the real companies. While there is nothing wrong with working with a start up company, shipping a car involves thousands of dollars just in the value of your vehicle. There are a couple ways to find out the reliability of a car shipping company.
BBB.org – Make sure the company is Accredited by the Better Business Bureau. You will see a badge on the right hand side of the business which looks like this: ![]()
WhoIs – This is one of my personal favorites. Just enter the website of the company you are looking to do business with. A whois shows who owns the website. It also shows how long the company has had the Domain registered for. If the owner has only had the Domain for one year, then you are dealing with a new company. If the registration shows more than 10 years of registration, then you are probably safe.It sometimes shows the location of the owner. Make sure you only work with a company who is located in the United States whether you are shipping a car internationally or across country.
You can use these 2 methods to find out the legitimacy of any company on the internet whether it is in car shipping or not. I normally use this method when buying product off websites I never heard of. This method has always kept me safe.
I would like to know more about this post. Is there a way to write extensively on this subject?
This is a crucial information that all people who are engaging with auto transport companies can consider to think of. We all want the best of what the service we would be offered and it is but fair to have the best of what we can get out of our money.
Thanks for taking the time to discuss this,I feel strongly about it and learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me.
